Privacy policy
This policy covers the version of Rescue Route that asks an age-group question, listed as RRoute. It explains local game saves, temporary age choices, support messages, and advertising available only to eligible adults.
Effective October 5, 2026 · Mixed-audience version
Game data on your device
Rescue Route stores completed rooms, stars, unlocks, and sound and haptic preferences locally on your device. It keeps local backup and previous-save files for recovery. The game does not require a player account and does not upload your puzzle progress to a developer-run game server.
Reset Progress replaces the active save while retaining recovery copies. To remove app-local files, use your device’s Delete App option rather than Offload App. Device or cloud backups managed by Apple may retain separate copies under your settings.
Advertising and consent
Current pre-release builds use test advertising. Production advertising is not enabled in those builds.
The game keeps advertising off for anyone who selects an age younger than 18 or skips the age question. Those choices do not create the game’s advertising provider or request ads. The game does not start its Google advertising or consent flow for these choices.
Only a player who selects 18 or older is eligible to start the advertising privacy process. Google AdMob provides ads, and Google’s User Messaging Platform manages applicable privacy choices. The adult path requests non-personalized ads only after that consent process permits requests. The game disables the advertising SDK’s publisher first-party identifier and does not request ATT/IDFA permission.
When Google’s advertising services run, they may receive an IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, ad and interaction information, and crash, performance, or diagnostic data. Google uses information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service operation. Non-personalized ads still process data; an ad request may transmit information even when no ad appears.
Eligible adults can turn ads off for the remainder of the session. This does not change their age answer, erase data already processed, or replace Google’s privacy-choice controls. Where available, AD PRIVACY will let eligible adults revisit those choices. The whole game remains available when ads are off or cannot be requested.
Google’s practices and choices are described in its Privacy Policy and information about partner apps. Google’s retention practices are described in its policies.
Support messages
If an adult player, parent, or guardian emails the developer, the email address and information provided are used to respond, investigate reported problems, and handle privacy requests. Parents or guardians should contact us on behalf of younger players. Do not send a child’s name, birthday, school, precise location, passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any applicable obligations.
A dedicated contact for support and privacy requests is being prepared. Requests involving data held by Google or Apple may need to be directed to that provider.
Audience and temporary age choices
Rescue Route is intended for a broad audience of children, teens, and adults; it is not primarily directed at children.
The game asks a neutral age-group question at each cold launch: under 13, 13–17, 18 or older, or skip. It does not ask for a date of birth. The choice remains only in session memory and is not written to the game save. Closing and freshly launching the app starts a new session and asks again.
The age answer cannot be changed or upgraded while the session is running. Choosing a younger age or skipping leaves the full game available with advertising off. An eligible adult can turn ads off for the remainder of that session.
The age question is a self-declared choice, not verified age or parental consent. When external support or privacy links are available in the game, a grown-up step protects them for younger players and skipped-age sessions.
